Sabine Cartellieri and Monika Heistermann are new additions to the advisory team for health foods at Diapharm

With Sabine Cartellieri (l.) and Monika Heistermann (r.), pharmaceutical service provider Diapharm has added two experienced pharmacists to its health food regulatory affairs team.

Münster (Germany), 27 January 2011. New additions Sabine Cartellieri and Monika Heistermann are strengthening the advisory team for health foods and health products at pharmaceutical service provider Diapharm (www.diapharm.de). In their new roles, the two pharmacists are supporting manufacturers of dietary supplements, dietetic foods and cosmetics with product design, formulation and borderline queries, and with phrasing advertising messages. In addition to regulatory and scientific advice, they will also be providing help and support for application procedures and assessments. Diapharm performs official duties in the areas of regulatory affairs, development, quality and business development on behalf of companies in the healthcare industry.

Monika Heistermann comes from food ingredient manufacturer Dr. Otto Suwelack Nachf. GmbH & Co. KG where for six years she was responsible for Quality Management. For further two years she worked in the area of food law. Ms Heistermann has a higher pharmacy qualification in medicinal product information and was previously employed in the drug registration department of 3M Medica. Monika Heistermann studied at the University of Marburg.

Until the end of 2010, Sabine Cartellieri was working for the Contract Research Organisation Monitoring Force GmbH as an external Project Manager at the Pfizer site in Münster. Before this, she worked as Product Manager for plant extracts at the scent and extract manufacturer Frutarom Switzerland Ltd. Sabine Cartellieri studied pharmacy in Regensburg.
