New generation of Diapharm management

Dr. Thilo Sandner
Managing Partner

Diapharm (www.diapharm.com) has implemented its succession plan by appointing experienced business consultant Dr Thilo Sander as part of the management team. He will lead the pharmaceutical consulting company with immediate effect together with pharmacist Ralf Sibbing. He replaces Diapharm founder Dr Stefan Sandner, who will remain part of the company and be actively involved in shaping its strategic focus. Diapharm is a service provider and consulting firm for the consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Around 100 employees at seven locations in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and China provide consulting services to clients in strategic matters, assume responsibility for regulatory, medical and scientific tasks and provide support in the area of quality assurance.

“We see great potential for growth in the healthcare industry in Europe and Asia in the coming years,” says Dr Thilo Sandner. Ralf Sibbing adds: “Alongside newly developed medicinal products and medical devices, the growing exchange between the EU and China is transforming both markets. For us, as professional consultants and operational service providers, this provides an ideal platform for growth.”

Thilo Sandner is moving to the family-run company's senior management team from an operating management role at Diapharm. He studied business and political science in Paris and London, before earning his doctorate in innovation management. The son of the company founder Dr Stefan Sandner initially worked at Charles River Associates (formerly Cepton Strategies) in Munich and New York. Since 2017 he has been leading Diapharm’s strategic management consulting team.
