Portfolio Management & Product Development
Diapharm offers comprehensive portfolio management for health products and medicinal products: from the first idea via the entire product development and marketing authorisations up to continuous maintenance.
Regulatory assessment and maintenance of individual products or complete product ranges belong to the spectrum of our services as well as opportunity identification and product portfolio optimisation. Depending on the scope of requested services we assume all regulatory tasks as an "external regulatory department". We also provide support for in-licensing or out-licensing of products or building up strategic partnerships.
Diapharm enables pharmaceutical companies to more strategically allocate and to fully concentrate on marketing and sales of their products. Their portfolio management for national or European markets is conducted by a specialised professional service provider who not only keeps track of laws and time limits but identifies chances for new products.

Within product development Diapharm supports the galenic as well as the regulatory part. Services include the determination of reasonable formulations and pharmaceutical forms, making contacts with contract manufacturers, production of pilot batches, elaboration of contracts, filing of documentations, formulation of obligatory texts and product information and much more. This whole range is provided by us either in the form of single services or as part of a full-service-management of product development.
A special service of Diapharm are pooling projects, e.g. as closed marketing authorisation funds. These marketing authorisation funds comprise a limited number of companies who share the costs for the development of a generic or innovative product. As a result each company obtains its own marketing authorisation. Another form of effective cost sharing is the maintenance pool, i.e. the pooled maintenance of similar marketing authorisations owned by different companies.
